CORPORATE POLLUTERS OFTEN HAVE BIG MONEY AND BIG INFLUENCE WORKING ON THEIR BEHALVES.

BUT THE PEOPLE STILL HAVE THEIR STRONGEST ALLY:
THE PEOPLE.

We are all volunteers who have lived in the Wausau area. Some of us have lived on the southwest side, while others have lived elsewhere.

But we all believe that citizens have the right to access important information about the environment in which they live, and that it is the government’s duty to enforce environmental laws in order to protect all residents.

We are committed to see that both of these things occur.

To that end, CITIZENS FOR A CLEAN WAUSAU will monitor significant local polluters and pursue Environmental Justice through research, communication, and action.

“You cannot expect to fully address environmental contamination in the state without also addressing the contamination of Wisconsin’s regulatory dynamic — one which has been polluted by powerful corporate lobbyists and influence for decades.”
